The association SCN2A Italia Famiglie in rete, in collaboration with the Scientific committee promotes on the occasion of the world day on awareness of SCN2A, an update meeting on the review of scientific on the SCN2A gene, whose mutations cause epilepsy and increase and neuro-developmental disorders.
The SCN2A gene is located on chromosome 2 at position 24.3, and encodes one of the qua© sub units that make up
the cerebral sodium channels, hence the choice of February 24 for the international day dedicated to awareness
in the SCN2A gene.
In the webinar various topics will be addressed: from genelogic to therapeutic approaches and rehabilitation in Italy, research prospecting in Italy and comparison with Italian families with children and flattering with SCN2A.
